# Adding a SIMVANA Application to Meta for Work

## Learn how to add a SIMVANA VR application to your Meta for Work Device Manager so it can be installed to your headsets.

This guide is only applicable for customers using Meta for Work (Horizon Managed Services) to manage headsets.

SIMVANA Apps are available on the Meta store for non managed headsets.

**Before You Begin:** Make sure your Meta for Work instance has been setup, and you are an administrator.

Before a SIMVANA application can be automatically installed on organization-managed Meta Quest headsets, the application must first be available in your organization's **Meta Horizon Device Manager**.

Once added, the application can be assigned to a Shared Mode device preset so that your managed headsets automatically receive the application.

### Add a SIMVANA application to Your Organization

1. Sign in to **Meta Horizon Device Manager**.
2. Select **Apps & content** from the side menu.
3. Open **Manage apps**.
4. Select the option to **Add an app**.
5. Search for the SIMVANA application you want to add: 
     - **SIMVANA Nursing**
     - **SIMVANA Anesthesia**
6. Select the appropriate SIMVANA application.
7. Add the application to your organization's managed applications.

### Verify the Application

After adding the application, return to:

**Apps & content → Manage apps**

Verify that **SIMVANA Nursing** or **SIMVANA Anesthesia** appears in your organization's application list.

If automatic application updates are available for the application, we recommend leaving them enabled so managed headsets receive current SIMVANA releases.

### Add SIMVANA to Your Device Preset

After SIMVANA has been added to your organization's applications:

1. Select **Devices** from the side menu.
2. Select **Device Presets**.
3. Open your **SIMVANA** Shared Mode device preset.
4. Open the **Apps** section.
5. Assign **SIMVANA Nursing**, **SIMVANA Anesthesia**, or both applications to the preset.
6. Save or assign the updated preset.

Meta applies changes made to a device preset to the devices assigned to that preset.

Users of Shared Mode headsets can only access applications that have been assigned to their device configuration, so make sure every SIMVANA application your learners need is included.

### Confirm Installation

After the preset has been applied to an enrolled headset:

1. Make sure the headset is connected to the internet.
2. Allow the headset time to receive its updated device configuration.
3. Open the application library in the headset.
4. Confirm that the assigned SIMVANA application is available.

The headset is now ready to launch SIMVANA.
