Clean, charge, store, and maintain Meta Quest hardware used with SIMVANA.
Cleaning your headset
After each use, wipe down the headset and controllers with a microfiber cloth or other electronic cleaning wipe.
Do not use chemical cleansers or alcohol. To clean the headset lenses, use a microfiber cloth and start from the center of the lens and gently wipe the lens in a circular motion moving outwards.

Storing headsets when not in use
Follow these best practices to keep your Meta Quest headsets ready for SIMVANA training and extend their lifespan.
Between sessions (daily/weekly use)
Leave each headset charging and connected to Wi-Fi so system and app updates (including SIMVANA) can download and install automatically while the device is idle.
Use the official charger and ventilated surfaces. If the headset or adapter feels hot, stop charging and let it cool before resuming.
Protect from light and heat. Store away from direct sunlight (can permanently damage lenses and display) and away from heaters or hot environments.
Long-term storage (no use for 2+ weeks)
If your headsets won’t be used for an extended period: Unplug and power down. Shut the headset all the way off and disconnect power.
Store at room temperature in a safe spot. Choose a cool, dry location at room temperature, away from excessive heat or cold, and out of direct sun. Avoid spots that are much colder than room temperature (e.g., garages in winter), which can cause moisture issues later
